OVEN SAFETY AND STOVETOPS: - Tri-ply stainless steel cookware is oven-safe up to 500°F (350°F if using a glass lid) and can be used on all cooktops and heat sources. Remember to lift, not drag, the cookware off the stovetop to prevent scratching. - Do not use tri-ply stainless steel cookware in the microwave or broiler.

USE: - Before first use, hand-wash the cookware with warm, soapy water. - Preheat your pan on low to medium heat for a couple of minutes. Once heated, pour enough cold oil into the pan to cover the cooking surface. - To avoid food sticking, do not disturb the food and allow the natural sugars to caramelize in the pan and release naturally. If the heat is too high, sticking may occur, so use low to medium heat, except when boiling. - Use oven mitts when removing cookware from the oven, as the handles will be hot. - Metal, wood, plastic, and heat-resistant nylon tools are safe to use with stainless steel cookware. Avoid using knives, sharp kitchen tools, or an electric hand mixer, as they may scratch the lining.

CLEANING: - Tri-ply cookware is dishwasher-safe, but hand-washing with warm, soapy water is recommended. Allow the pan to cool before washing. - To remove stuck-on foods, fill the cookware with a small amount of water and place it over low heat until the food softens and becomes easy to remove. - Use a specialist stainless steel cookware cleaning product and follow the instructions on the label. - Discoloration may occur from using too high of heat. To remove it, rub the cookware with a cloth dampened with lemon juice or white vinegar, or use a specialist stainless steel cookware cleaning product and follow the instructions on the label.

SEASONING CARBON STEEL - STOVE METHOD: - Wash the pan with warm, soapy water, dry it with a towel, and then place it on the stovetop to ensure it is thoroughly dried. - Once the pan is dry, use your oil of choice and a paper towel to apply it around the interior and exterior of the pan. You can also continue to rub the pan with a hand towel to ensure the oil is evenly coated. - Place the pan back on the stove and heat it until it starts smoking. Be sure to heat the sides of the pan over the flame to ensure the entire surface area is heated. - Once the pan is smoking, turn off the heat and allow it to cool quickly.

SEASONING CARBON STEEL - OVEN METHOD: - Place a foil-lined baking sheet into the bottom rack of your oven. - Preheat your oven to 475°F to 500°F. - While the oven is preheating, wash the pan with warm, soapy water, dry it with a towel, and then place it on the stovetop to ensure it is thoroughly dried. - Once the pan is dry, use your oil of choice and a paper towel to apply it around the interior and exterior of the pan. You can also continue to rub the pan with a hand towel to ensure the oil is evenly coated. - Place the pan into the fully heated oven, upside down, on the rack above the foil-lined baking sheet. - Leave the pan in the oven for an hour. After an hour, turn off the oven but leave the pan inside until it is cool to the touch.
